KINDERTRANSPORT REUNION
Kindertransport Reunion at Liberation75:
(June 1 @ 4:45-5:45 p.m.)
In the months before World War II, nearly 10,000 children were sent, without their parents, from Nazi Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Danzig and Poland to safety in England. Unaccompanied children in much smaller numbers were also sent to Sweden, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. The Kindertransport Association reunites Kindertransport survivors, their children and grandchildren, preserves and shares Kindertransportee histories, and supports today’s children in need and child refugees.
Join us for a gathering hosted by Second Generation Kinder. All are welcome - Kinder, the next generations and interested friends!
