The days we have left with Holocaust survivors are precious. These individuals are witnesses to a tragic history the world needs to learn from. And kids in particular need to learn from. Because they can make the world a better place.

Making survivors’ stories relatable to kids has always been challenging. They just see old people talking about history.

We found a new way to connect with kids. Using a few remaining childhood photos, survivors were taken back in time with A.I. — retelling their stories as their younger selves.
