Hearing History: A Holocaust Survivor Memoir Read Aloud

The Azrieli Foundation

Ideal for classroom use with Grades 5-8.

This program is designed to help students learn about the Holocaust by engaging with a survivor memoir and exploring its historical context. Students will gain an understanding of the Holocaust through the lens of survivor testimony, a written memoir. As the memoir will be read aloud to students, this program better engages a younger audience and those in English or French as a Second Language programs.

  • A speaker can be arranged after completing this education program.

  • Books are free for Canadian students and teachers.
