Facing History and Ourselves
Designed for teachers instructing Grades 6-12.
In this facilitated online course, we will: Explore an innovative approach and local sources for introducing Jewish Canadian history, heritage, and identities to inspire curiosity and connection; Learn classroom-ready resources about the history of the Holocaust; Engage with survivor testimony through a trauma-aware approach, and gain tools to foster understanding and agency in students to make informed, ethical choices.
