Virtual Teaching Trunks
Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center
Grades 4 - 11

Virtual teaching trunks include access to e-books and digital texts, Illinois Holocaust Museum developed films, lessons and activities for remote teaching, and digital artifacts to help students explore the stories of local Holocaust Survivors. The trunks are designed for K-12 classrooms and explore themes including the Holocaust, genocide, human and civil rights, as well as character education, social-emotional learning, and more.
Our virtual teaching trunks can be used beyond the social studies classroom and invited into literacy education. Students can work on their reading and writing standards while immersing themselves in a range of resources. These resources help build the bridge between content and understanding.
Virtual Speaker Visits can be arranged at the following link: https://www.ilholocaustmuseum.org/learn/book-a-speaker-school-groups/
